Last night I watched the newly restored blu-ray of Lumiere films. For fans of early cinema, this one is a no-brainer. Spectacular restoration. In HD some of these films look like they were shot yesterday, not 115 years ago. Beautiful films with an artist's eye for composition. The running time of the films is about 70 minutes, so it isn't a lot of material, but it is very concentrated in its goodness. The booklet, menus and commentary are all in French with no translation. But the films themselves has a needle drop score by Saint-Saens. Region B locked.
