Is this it for movie price drops?

Anybody know if Amazon is doing anything additional for Cyber Monday?

Thus far, I haven't seen any indication that they are -- but I am keeping an eye out.

I went looking, too, this morning, and I couldn't find a thing at Amazon. I don't always look in the right places, however. Hopefully, someone will find something and let us know.

I see a "Cyber Monday Deals Week Starts Today" banner at the top right of the Amazon.com homepage next to the search bar. In the movies section of that, I see a list of what deals they have today, as well as some titles going onsale tomorrow. I don't see anything that specifically lists sales that will be Monday-only but I'm getting the impression that those will be added at some point.

This is a really busy time at work for me, so I wasn't able to hit the sales until today and only went to Wally. I only grabbed Blu-rays this year and barely looked at the DVDs, I passed on getting both parts of the DC Animated movie of The Dark Knight Returns on DVD for $1.98 each. I want to get the Blu versions with the Graphic Novel. Wally was sold out of Furious 7 and Aladdin.

$3.96:

The Heat

Project Almanac

$6.96:

Dumb and Dumber To

Horrible Bosses 2

How To Train Your Dragon

Mr Peabody & Sherman

The Amazing Spider-man 2

Edge Of Tomorrow

I got from Amazon:

Ex Machina, $4.99 (since raised)

The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, which I got for $5.99 as a Lightning Deal (but then they made that the normal price afterwards)

Birdman, $5.99 (ordered at $6, but then noticed the price drop, so cancelled and re-ordered; every penny counts); since raised

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone illustrated, $17.97 with 30% Black Friday weekend book discount code HOLIDAY30. (This is still valid for any book through Monday, if anyone wants to use it, once per account.)

I also had a substantial discount on Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow, but then got it for free when Amazon sorted out a billing error on their end (great customer service there) so was able to apply that discount to another book pre-order instead.

And at Barnes & Noble I used their 30% off one item discount to get Year of Yes, Shonda Rhimes' new book.

On gohastings I got blu-rays of 2010, THOMAS CROWN remake and STARSHIP TROOPERS, along with a very very cheap copy of THE ANDERSONVILLE TRIAL on DVD, which for some reason has skyrocketed pricewise just about everywhere else All that for under $21 (had a coupon.)

Found WHITE RIBBON under three bucks at Goodwill and got MULHOLLAND DRIVE Criterion blu at B&N using the 30% coupon plus the half-off sale.

I was in Wal-mart today and they still had the BF movie displays out. The discs rang up as the sales prices still, so I grabbed a couple more. Before, the discs would revert back to their regular prices the first Monday after BF. I bought:

Anchorman 2

Django Unchained

Both on Blu-ray
