Problem with ITUNES update---does not recognize my IPOD (1 Viewer)

Hope I am posting in the correct forum, if not let me know.


I have a Ipod Nano like the one pictured below. I have a Dell laptop with the most recent version of Windows installed. A few weeks ago I updated the version of Itunes and now the laptop/Itunes will not recognize my Ipod. I have followed Itunes instructions to correcting the problem and have uninstalled and reinstalled Itunes three times. I have also followed their other suggestions which don't seem to reference the most recent version of Windows (10 I think). Not sure what to do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you haven't already, you might try reinstalling the motherboard chipset/USB drivers on your Dell laptop.
