Denon avr 3200 question (1 Viewer)

I've bought Denon avr 3200 as is, no remote.

When I am turning it on without any inputs and outputs connection, display is illuminating but after couple seconds some relay is clicking and device switching to standby mode. Display become dark.

Is it normal?
