I am a 63 yo male. Retired 8/31/14. Golf enthusiast. Have always loved music. Own several guitars and music audio equipment. Lay down tracks for songs during the winter months. Have a small home theater in my music room/den. May want to improve it now that I have the time to do so.

I am a young fifty year old that has always had a thing for A/V. In my 20's I worked at Roger's Sound Lab retail in Huntington Beach, Ca. That is where I first started to aquire my ever expanding A/V equipment. Today the ever changing technology makes it more like being in the candy store of your dreams!

I have very fond memories of the RogerSound Torrance store. People still comment on my beautiful RSL oak equipment rack and the oak TV stand that supports a plasma screen just as nicely as it did the old 25" monitor. I never acquired any of the speakers, but came close any number of times to getting the 3600 studio monitors.

In my thirties and male into this home theater hobby.
Finally got out of the Theater in a box solutions. Now much happier owner of pro equipment and Axiom speakers. Proud owner of 400 odd C.D.s and 200 odd Blueray/DVDs. Needless to say my children's friends never want to leave.

Just found this forum and love it so far. I'm just under 50 with a wonder wife and two boys in college. I have been in Home Theater for 20 years or so. About 10 years ago I converted my garage into a media / theater room. I always thought if I buy good gear it would last and it still sounds great all these years later.

between 300-400 dvd/bluray movies.
