Not crazy about the cover artwork -- if memory serves, there's not even a blonde in the entire movie.


When I think of the great poster artwork this movies had (the movie title here is from it), one could consider this another lost opportunity. It was a hard movie to market when it was released -- it's still hard to market 50 years later.....

The film is a wonderful example of the "swinging London" era. Directed by Richard Lester, it is easy to see how his style for A Hard Day's Night developed in the Knack. The score by John Barry is fun and doesn't sound a bit like his more famous later scores.


I would market it as a part of swinging London and a clear anticipation of the styles of A Hard Day's Night and other films of the later 60's.


I agree that the cover is a disaster.

I'm pretty sure that cover art is based on one of the original posters for the film.
