As I understand it, this is just an elaborate "proof of concept" trailer - the actual film is still being written. It's not like they pulled out an entire production out of their ass without anyone knowing about it. This was done in nearly all CGI and is supposed to invoke a sense of what we should expect.
That would explain why they gave away some heavy money shots in a 4 min. trailer. None of it is actually going to be in the real film.
