Harman Kardon AVR 1710 Plays BR but not CD (1 Viewer)

Hi Forummers,


Need some serious help here. I recently bought a BDP-150 Pioneer blurry player. It's got audio out which I have connected to the audio in on my Hardam Kardon AVR 1710's audio ins. I've also got cdmi connected to the AVR. Funny thing is the AVR will play Blu Rays, but when I insert a CD there's zip. I've tried to assign the input on the AVR's settings and seems ok, but try as I might it just won't play when I select the MHL button on the remote.


I disconnected the cdmi and just ran the audio outs with no result when I select the Audio button on the remote.


My hdmi is connected to the first port MHL


Also anyone experienced having to sometimes press the AVR button before being able to turn the unit ON/OFF?
