Catherine Coulson, American stage and screen actor, perhaps best known as the "Log Lady" on Twin Peaks and the prequel Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, has passed away at 71. Ms. Coulson was a favorite of director David Lynch, and was scheduled to continue her character in the upcoming Showtime revival.
