A few small packages arrived today a good ole Laserdisc and bluray box set that I had been expecting.
I guess this same as the tin box petrol can only in cardboard form that is okay.
Due to a pressing time today with the hospital this afternoon I only had time to skip though Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome (1985)
Sigh good grief. Why, why not the original Warner Bros logo as I never seen the film before but I can instantly tell.
I like the glittery image must be maybe connected with Dolby Stereo 70mm for that vibration eye vibration effect, Maybe? Its no doubt a camera photography flaw these things can happen (thou I have the Warner Laserdisc letterbox pressing on its way so should arrive tomorrow Wednesday or Thursday to compare)
The picture is reasonable clear thou the look of this grain to me looks kinder artificial at times otherwise I should still see grain in the black area of the end credits with brightness turned up I don't see it which I should.
The Dolby Stereo 5.1 oh I forgot its dtsHDMA well doesn't appear to be reading the end credits it says DOLBY STEREO, now then.
The mix was average for a quick fast watching/listening and I'll see if i can give it a bit more closer attention when I get back from the hospital late this afternoon.
