I am setting up a theater/man cave. I have seen it before but how do I go about getting 4 different videos/games on one tv or projector? I assume you will need 4 cable boxes which I understand, however is there something out there that uses only 1 box to create multiple video outputs.

BTW this is my first post in this forum.. Ive been following for a while and decided to make an account.

Cheers!!

You’re looking for a video multiplexer, typically the stuff of professional applications. I imagine one that does HD and accepts consumer connections (e.g. HDMI vs. BNC) will not be cheap.

By the way, welcome to the Forum!

Now, the real question is what is a reputable brand and also what about control of the inputs. Can I get a controller to control all the inputs.

Considering the cheapest one I found is $750...I don't think "junk" exists...

Controlling "4 inputs independently" is problematic if all 4 are the exact same thing...

DirecTV allows RF and IR up to 10 and 4. No clue what Dish/FIOS/cable allows.
