Rentrak's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian commented, "Universal Pictures is having a banner weekend at the global box office with their 'Straight Outta Compton' topping the worldwide chart with $16.75 million and on top of that, their 'Minions' cross the $1 billion mark globally as 'Jurassic World' hits the $1 billion mark in the international territories alone and thus raises its global cumulative to a whopping $1.65 billion."
