Preferred features would be:


• 5 to 7 hdmi inputs

• Bluetooth


Not really sure what else to look for. What, in your opinion, are must have features in a receiver to obtain optimal speaker/receiver performance?

For me...must haves...

HDMI upconversion(for anything non-HDMI)
Preouts
Front HDMI/AV/3.5MM
Universal remote
DSX/IIz/Atmos/X
Digital 2nd Zone.

I just watch Blu Rays, Netflix, tv, etc.. 5 speakers and 1 subwoofer. Do all receives allow the user to manually set each speaker crossover, calibration, etc.?

All the ones you chose...do.

None are 4K "compliant" either(only 2014 Onkyo and all new 2015 are)
