Somewhere in Time is a 1980 romantic fantasy drama film directed by Jeannot Szwarc. It is afilm adaptation of the 1975 novel Bid Time Return by Richard Matheson, who also wrote the screenplay. The film stars Christopher Reeve, Jane Seymour, and Christopher Plummer.

Red Dragon, Silence of The Lambs was a very good movie but an OK book. I feel the novel, Red Dragon was a far better read and enjoyed the movie immensely.
