Currently, as of this post, there are reported errors when attempting to preorder the Limited Edition. This is coming from Amazon's side.

Keep trying.

The Supreme Cinema Series, is that a new line from Sony? I don't think I've seen it before. For some reason I've never seen this film, funny as it's my sort of thing. I didn't get around to buying the DVD, & was put off the Blu by some reviews. I'll be interested to read what people think of this version.

Any idea yet when we can actually order this from amazon?

Despite removing the listing they have not canceled my pre-order from last week. I would guess they put them back up with the same item numbers now that it is announced. $45 for the limited is a lot, but I am sure it will come down considerably from MSRP before release.

Seems so. From the Entertainment Weekly article this is "the first of the Supreme Cinema Series, a new collection of “Clear Case” limited-edition discs from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment."

I'm assuming the "Rare 1993" commentary is from the Criterion laserdisc. I wish CC's excellent commentaries from the past thirty years (!) would get licensed out more often. They have some real gems sitting in their vaults. If I recall, the Dracula commentary is a little dry but very technically informative.

The color timing discussion should be interesting again.

The current Sony UHD version available from their services has notably different color from the Blu-ray which we were told matched the original answer print.

I don't know if this is yet another 4K scan, or stems from the current services version.

...the musical score, although repetative, is beautiful...the "love" sceen between Oldman and Ryder is something to behold!...

So all you get with the LE is the booklet and a "High-End Clear Case"?

Apparently so. I don't understand why the "clear case" is such a point of emphasis in the marketing, but it's not worth the extra to me. I'll just get the regular version (if the reviews find it's an improvement over the prior release).

Pretty sure this will be one of the very first dedicated Ultra Hgih Defenition Blu-Ray discs released later this year(is that still happening? been awfully quiet)

I will just wait, and see. No need to buy this twice.
