Analog to digital cable or converter? (1 Viewer)

I have a comcast sd non hd cable box. As a gift I received an optoma hd26 projector. The cable box only has component or coax output. The projector only has hdmi input. I don't watch tv enough to justify upgrading to an hd box for $120 a year. Is there a way to connect coax or rca/component connection out from cable box through a converter and connect it through hdmi to projector?

You will have to spend money on the conversion and it will look like crap when blowing up the analog images so much larger. Spend the money for an HD cable box.
