I'm setting up a home theater in a room that is roughly 16'x19'. It's not acoustically perfect, but I'll worry about adding acoustic treatments later.
The room is prewired for 5.1, but I'd like to keep the option open for at least an upgrade to 7.1 at some point. I think Atmos would be overkill in that room.
I'm looking for something that can handle 3D and 4K pass through, has at least 4 HDMI inputs, and can support AirPlay and Sirius XM. Audyssey would be a nice bonus.
I'll be currently pairing this with a Klipsch Quintet plus sub, but those will be replaced within six months.
The reviews for receivers tend to overwhelm me. Can any of you give suggestions on what type of receivers to start considering?
