Excuse my babble in advance. Possessor of limited knowledge here.
After years of sd TV, I finally had the cash to buy a 42 inch Panasonic Plasma (tc-p42c2) in 2010. Maybe not the best tv out there but very pleasing to my eyes. Best I've ever owned! The other day it just shut down. I guess something with the power supply. I turn it on, the led lights up, there's a click, & it clicks off. No blinking or anything. I had hoped it would last until the next "big thing" was within my price range. Now if it can't be fixed, I have to buy a new tv sooner than I'd hoped.
Does anyone know how much it would cost to fix it? If it's around $200 or so I wouldn't mind but over $300 & I'd rather get a new tv. I paid under $500 for it new. Is there a comparable tv out there at 50 inches? My place can't handle more than that. I mostly watch sports, movies, & a lot of older material. Some gaming. I love my plasma picture & would like something similar. Thanks for any advice you can offer!
