Here is the blu Rays art work, due out in October! text from the Facebook post:

SYNAPSE FILMS ART REVEAL for our upcoming edition of MANOS: THE HANDS OF FATE! Cover art created by the awesome Joel Robinson, a man we've known for years and we've finally had the opportunity to work with. More details to come, but we're fast-tracking this one as an October "Halloween" release. Once everything is coordinated for the sellsheet, etc. we may make the formal announcement next week, with extras, pre-order cut off, and street date details! To all the "Manos" restoration Kickstarter supporters out there... we are working RIGHT NOW to get both the DVD and BLU versions finished well before the "public" street date, so that all those that donated to Ben Solovey's Kickstarter campaign for his restoration will receive their copies well ahead of everyone else. Stay tuned! For more information on Ben Solovey's restoration efforts, please visit his site at: www.manosinhd.com

Personally, I LOVE the artwork.

Even though it's squarely in the "So bad it's good" category, I have to admire anyone who actually gets a feature film made! I see from Wikipedia that most of the people involved in "Manos" were also involved in their local community theater. I do that too and am currently enjoying my directorial debut. It's only one of three one act plays by a local author but I have to admit it gives me quite a charge when I see promotional materials with the words "Directed by" followed by my name! One of my fellow directors has done some short films and I did some fun things with Super 8 years ago, but we can only dream of being well financed enough to attempt any kind of full length film!

Been waiting a long time for this.

And it's just a coincidence that the cover artist's name is the same as Joel Hodgson's character on MST3K, which brought this film out of complete obscurity? :)

I thought Catalina Caper was way worse. :)
It's about as hard to pick the worst as it is to pick the best. The Creeping Terror, Robot Monster, Plan 9 etc... There are plenty to choose from and I guess that's part of the fun! I always thought Glen or Glenda was much worse than Plan 9 BTW!

In debates over what is THE Worst Movie of all time, THE CREEPING TERROR is often cited for its shortcomings regarding missing/lost audio (Or, so urban legend would have it!) and very poor cinematography (Often goes in and out of focus!), in addition to its many other more obvious flaws!

CHEERS! :)

cant wait, just want that pre order info, now if the film was half as great as the cover art, this would be a different conversation,

Compared with some of the films MST3K dug up, like those of Coleman Francis, Ed Wood's body of work doesn't seem so bad. ;)

Yeah, every time I see someone say that The Phantom Menace or Iron Man 2 or Transformers Part 73 is the worst movie ever made, I know they haven't been subjected to the horror and total boredom of Coleman Francis' movies. At least, Ed Wood's movies have some entertainment value and Manos is bizarre enough to be kinda interesting but something like The Beast Of Yucca Flats is just the bottom.

Somehow, I just knew this was coming out close to my birthday, which happens to be the same day John Reynolds died. *cue spooky music*
