Gotta tell yuh....in at 3am EST and....nothing that I want/need so far

Nothing I want/need either. Many of the lightning deals were sold out immediately, but I wasn't interested.

Guess we have to keep checking back for newly posted lightning deals.


Only thing I may purchase is a Crucial 512GB SSD drive for $159

I guess so. I'd like to see some TV and movie deals.

Before they hid it again there was a lightning deal listed for

11:20am Eastern for Boardwalk Empire BD Complete Series,
Vikings Season 1 & 2 DVDs and Simpsons DVDs??

and

I think Man From UNCLE DVD Complete for either 12 or 1 something -- no prices just a time which I didn't write down.

Looks like LOTR Extended Edition BD for 27.99 may be the only Day Long (or until sold out) Movie deal up. Surely as the day passes
some other Movies will come and go (other than the LD). The sneak said 40+ total, but I'm guessing that's likely 30 dvd and 10 bd sets
maybe?

Bought the Crucial 512GB drive for $159. Also bought an external case for it.


Off the deal trail, I also purchased a 3rd party link bracelet for my Apple Watch.


Other than that, the selection of "deals" is pretty lousy. I posted my disappointment on their Facebook page and noticed similar comments along with mine.


So far, this is not starting with a "bang" at all. However, it is early, and perhaps, a better selection of deals are forthcoming.


I, personally, will keep you guys updated with what I find until about noon PST. After that, I retire for the day.


Hope we have other members that pick up the ball and help feed this thread with valuable deal information.

This is "more deals than Black Friday"? Obviously not for those who are looking for Blu-ray deals. I was expecting to see prices slashed on lots of movies on my wishlist. Nada, zippo, diddly-squat. I'm going to bed now. Perhaps I'll miss out on something while I sleep. Oh well, I probably couldn't afford it anyway.

Exactly, Mark. Been monitoring since early this morning. Their deals suck.


Maybe they are saving their real bargains for later today.

Amazon's Black Friday sales of past years were far better than this.


Just waiting for Blu-ray offers to pop up on their lightning deals timeline.


I'd buy a second ECHO if the price dropped to $100. There are rumors, on Facebook, it will drop $50 at some point today but that only brings it to about $125.

Just skimming over the above posts (i haven't even gone to Amazon itself yet), this sale doesn't have anything for me, either.


(I, too, have several pages of "save for later" movies and such, which don't seem to be a part of today's excitement.)

So, no movies? No books? No CDs? Meh. Pass.

There are some boxed set deals and all, but nothing that enticed me to go digging.
