The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

The Specials

--I think this week's big new release is the Harper Lee book.    There.  I said it.

--The latest batch of new releases from Twilight Time hits this week.  There's a new way to get 'em.  TwilightTimeMovies.com.  And , of course, there's still Screen Archives Entertainment.

$22.99:  Rizzoli & Isles: S5, Orange is the new Black: S2Covert Affairs: S5, Parks & Recreation: S7, Power: S1

Extra early is right! Thanks, Mike!

I did manage to put up the review for Ex Machina earlier this evening. It can be found here.

I am assigned Fox's three releases for the week, but I only got a head's up from Fox on one of them now in the mail: The Longest Ride. Fingers crossed they also send The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and The Rogue Cut version of X-Men: Days of Future Past.

I have added that link to the OP, Matt! Thanks!

And there have already been some price drops on Blus at Amazon on Powers: Season 1, and It Follows. Those have been adjusted in the grid as well.

Just HOWLING II...YOUR SISTER IS A WEREWOLF for me. I might pick up IT FOLLOWS for my girlfriend since it's rather cheap.

Thanks for the prices.

Thanks for the RoundUp, Mike. Surprised to see it tonight. Looking forward to finally seeing Ex Machina and I'll be reading that book at some point too. :)

Expensive week for me...

4 Amazon pre, 2 from Target and 1 from Best Buy.

3 from overseas that I should be charged for this week as well.

Thanks, Mike. I want The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and the Rogue Cut, but it's been an expensive month already, and given Fox's tendency for quick price drops, I might just wait on those and see if they go down. If I get anything in terms of discs this week, Ex Machina will be first. Great film and already reasonably priced.

And, while not a Blu-ray, it is worth noting that Go Set a Watchmen (the recently discovered "new" Harper Lee book, which is a sort-of To Kill a Mockingbird sequel) is out on Tuesday. That is my top priority this week over any of the movies.

Already noted, Jake! ;)

That is a ridiculous price for The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. I'll wait for the price drop and then pick it up.

Ex Machina is a day one blind buy at Target.

Don't forget this week's Criterion releases, as well as all others in their catalog, can be had at Barnes and Noble at 50% off thru July 27.

No BD of Clouds of Sils Maria; just as there was no BD of last week's '71. What a shame!
I, too am awaiting a US release. I saw Clouds at the only screen in Indianapolis that showed it; one of the year's best for me.

For some reason my eyes just glazed over that, lol. Thanks.

Amazon kindly dropped the price of mine to $9.23. I'm not sure when it was that cheap, but the pre-order price guarantee kicked in on that since I've had it on order since the day it was first announced. Can't beat that price now. :)

No print ad here in Central Florida for BB today.

P.S. Target here seems to be diminishing their physical media department, as well. About half the space for DVD/BDs and CDs as before.
