Did anyone catch this? Interesting set-up. Pretty decent special effects. Pretty horrendous acting, though. I'll watch another episode or two to see where it goes....

Looking forward to it, still on the DVR for later today. Previews and everything else look pretty good. But sometimes these summertime series can be really bad, or really decent, Like "Falling Skies", "The Last Ship", etc. Others just quietly fade away, never to be remembered.

I was planning to watch until I read that they're hoping this will be an on-going, multi-season series, rather than a finite limited series that will begin and end this summer. I gave up on Under the Dome after two episodes for similar reasons (along with all the changes to the story). The book was OK, but it's not worth a multi-year investment, especially if they're making up their own story in order to stretch it out.

I've stayed with "Under the Dome", but this season didn't start well. Never read the book, but it definitely seems like they're trying to stretch things out. Don't think it will be back next summer.

"Zoo"? I'm still flexible. If it turns out well I'll stay with it.

I thought this might be a fun, short-run summer series to watch, but I forgot it was on so I haven't seen it yet. I do have the DVR set to pickup the Sunday rerun.

We watched "Under the Dome" the first season and found it to be ok, but we ended up dropping it partway into the second. I've been curious as to how it has been progressing though. I read the book when it came out. The series was quite a bit different even in that first year and by the look of the promos, it appears it has veered even further afield.

Have a feeling "Zoo" will not be back. Many shows James Wolk seems to be attached to just die, usually fairly quickly.

Remember that show a few years back with him and Jon Voight? I think it lasted two episodes and it was cancelled.

Hopefully tonight's episode will advance the story a bit more...it's been three weeks of animal attacks and "Your father was crazy! His theories were crazy!"

Could this be any more derivative? Tonight's Episode: "Willard" vs. "Jaws"!

(And wasn't Billy Burke on some post-apocalyptic show a few years back? Gawd, he's awful....)
