SONY STR-DN1020 AV Receiver (1 Viewer)

I have a Sony STR-DN1020 AV Receiver that cuts out and gives me a blank screen when loud noises, explosions occur in a modern blu-ray or net flicks movie. I turn off the receiver and turn it on again and it's okay until the next loud noise. I can watch old classic movies all day no problem but I would like to enjoy blu-ray and net flicks again.

I can also increase the volume until it cuts out but it's troublesome turning the receiver off and on again repeatedly throughout a blu-ray or net flicks movie. I have Sony 7.2 Speakers with a subwoofer. Sony Blue-Ray player.

Do you have it stuffed inside a cabinet?

I wonder if he has an issue with a short in the amplifier that is effected by what he is playing.
