Looks great. While the concept has shades of everything from The Manchurian Candidate to The Bourne Identity to "Chuck", the movie was evidently inspired by the CIA's real life illegal mind control program MKUltra.
This role looks squarely in Jesse Eisenberg's wheelhouse, and he and Kristin Stewart had decent chemistry in Adventureland. I find that she's consistently underrated as an actress, especially because she's got the personality of a door handle in interviews. I was also excited to see Connie Britton as the CIA agent having a really bad day and Topher Grace chewing all sort of scenery as the spy boss.
So is this supposed to be a comedy amongst all of the graphic violence? I can't tell anymore, since the two now seem to be synonymous. Still, that being said, it looks like it might be a promising flick.
