Hi,
I don't know if anyone reads these introductions but in case they do, here's a bit about me.
I'm currently a contributor to Something Else Reviews. While that online journal is mainly devoted to rock music I have been contributing articles on movies and TV. A complete list of my articles can be found here: http://somethingelsereviews.com/author/miketiano/
Of interest to those on this forum may be my latest article titled "Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo: How the Flashback Scene Almost Vanished Forever". This details how "Vertigo" was almost released without the revelation scene, which, if left on the cutting room floor, may have never been seen by the movie-going public.
Those familiar with the band Yes will recognize my name as I launched their official website YesWorld in 1998, and had written liner notes for their Rhino rereleases and compilations.
In addition I am also a songwriter/musician who performs locally in the Seattle area, and am in the midst of recording my works. Interested parties can hear some of my recordings here: http://www.reverbnation.com/tunepak/2916884.
I look forward to perusing and contributing to this forum.
Thanks!
Mike
