Presumed Innocent is already out on blu ray. I know because I have it.

Yes, Women in Love and The Boy Friend would both be highly sought after.

Yep, & The Music Lovers & Savage Messiah &...The Devils (I suppose Warner could license out that hot potato). I understand there's a very nice looking The Boy Friend on Warner Archive DVD, maybe it'll make it to Blu-ray.

Quite a few, but the ones I'd like:

Look Back In Anger
The Entertainer
Tom Jones
The Charge Of The Light Brigade - there's a French Blu, but I understand it's no better than the DVD.
Ned Kelly - starring Mick Jagger as Ned, & he's quite good.

Michael Curtiz, by my count, has 10 or so of his films on BD (including the upcoming Dodge City), but many more certified classics are still unreleased on this format. These are the ones I'd love to see:

20,000 Years in Sing Sing (1932)

The Kennel Murder Case (1933)

Captain Blood (1935)

The Charge of the Light Brigade (1936)

Kid Galahad (1937)

Angels with Dirty Faces (1938)

The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex (1939)

Virginia City (1940)

The Sea Hawk (1940)

Santa Fe Trail (1940) (not the dodgy PD version you can get on BD now)

The Sea Wolf (1941)

Dive Bomber (1941)

Captains of the Clouds (1942)

Mission to Moscow (1943)

This Is the Army (1943)

Passage to Marseille (1944)

Mildred Pierce (1945)

Night and Day (1946)

Flamingo Road (1949)

We're No Angels (1955)

Raoul Walsh, another of my favorite directors, only has about 10 of his films on BD (including int'l versions). My list for him would include:

The Roaring Twenties (1939)

They Drive by Night (1940)

High Sierra (1941)

The Strawberry Blonde (1941)

They Died with Their Boots On (1941)

Desperate Journey (1942)

Gentleman Jim (1942)

Northern Pursuit (1943)

Uncertain Glory (1944)

Objective, Burma! (1945)

Silver River (1948)

Fighter Squadron (1948)

The World in His Arms (1952)

Gun Fury (1953)

A Lion Is in the Streets (1953)
Battle Cry (1955)

The Naked and the Dead (1958)

Marines, Let's Go (1961)

Michael Curtiz & Raoul Walsh, great choices, & some fantastic movies in those lists. Hopefully we'll see some of those titles from Warner by the end of the year.

To the Anthony Mann list, I'd add a personal favorite, The Heroes of Telemark, as well as a properly done Region A release for The Fall of the Roman Empire. Totally agree with the rest of the list.

Let's see: so far, George Cukor has The Women, Born Yesterday, A Star Is Born, and My Fair Lady on Blu-ray (and the scenes he did on Gone With the Wind which are still in the movie). That leaves quite a few truly great films without Blu-ray releases.

Little Women

David Copperfield

Camille

Dinner at Eight

The Philadelphia Story

Holiday

Adam's Rib

Pat and Mike

Gaslight

just for starters.
