We've hired a company that will send a cleaning person to clean our house. I know that I'm supposed to tip housekeeping when staying at a hotel, but what about the cleaning person that comes to our house? Is tipping expected and if so, how much? I know there will be two ladies this time.

I have no idea, Johnny.

But I suppose one idea would be to ask the person at the company with whom you made the arrangement.

Ask if tips are allowed/expected on top of the contract price. You might be surprised to find that the workers aren't even allowed to take tips.

Depends on the company. (Seriously)

(Not so serious)
A friend of mine was getting married and lived with a woman who was prim and proper.

I sent a home cleaning service over that, well...expected tipping.

By, the way...legit service.
