I am wondering what I could get for a small 10x18 room for a budget of $1500 for a TV, receiver, and speakers. Anyone have any suggestions?

Are you looking for surround sound or just a pair of speakers up front?
I'd buy a plasma. You should still be able to find a 51" Samsung floating somewhere.
Netflix via what?
Onkyo come with a remote ready to run Apple TV.
Nothing runs a Roku remote(if you have a motion remote).
