Need help with sound (1 Viewer)

I have Samsung plasma tv series 5 (5500) model name PN51F5500 and a samsung home theater in a box/ blu ray (HT-H4530) with a ps4. So I can get sound from the blu and I am using the optical cable for the ps4. When I try to watch Netflix on the tv there is no sound please help

No just the tv the wife wants to be able just turn the tv on (the home theater turns on as while cause there both samsung) go to Netflix and watch it with surround sound.

If you using the Netflix app on the TV (versus the app on the Samsung HTS), then you'll need to run an optical cable from the TV to the Samsung optical input.

HDMI Cable from HTIB directly to TV and Optical from HTIB to TV, PS4 also straight to TV via its HDMI. set TV speaker settings to external speaker

His TV doesn't pass 5.1 from incoming HDMI.
