I saw this film for the first time in many years on TCM recently and was reminded what a charming film this is. Anyone think this has any hope of coming to BD?

It's not everyone's cup of tea since it is a slow paced character driven story, but that it is why I enjoy it so much. 90 minutes of watching a quartet of acting legends finish their careers in fine fashion is 90 minutes well spent in my opinion.

I caught the TCM showing by chance, and couldn't turn it off. The short vignettes interspersed with gorgeous exterior shots became predictable after a while, but the charm of Gish and Price, the humor of Sothern, and the Bette Davis impression by Davis (you'll know what I mean when you see the film) were very entertaining. Those exterior shots would be gorgeous in Blu-Ray.

I saw it too on TCM and can tell you it looks much better than the dvd i have so i hope too it will come to blu-ray. Nice little film and it's great to see Gish, Price and Davis together.
