I can tell the difference between 720p vs 1080p and know their advantages vs disadvantages.
But here is my dilemma. All my media is digital from Digital Downloads, iTunes, home movies and other miscellaneous media sources. With 95% saved in 720p and 5% in 1080p.
I go back and forth between better quality and everything at my fingertips whenever I upgrade a unit or back it all up. I'm building a new HTPC and want other members suggestions on whether I should go with quality or quantity.
Remember that I can't simply download it when I need to as some family members who aren't good with technology will be using it without me, having a NAS system is out of the question due to space issues. And as I use it 90% of the time I could also just keep what I mostly watch. At the moment the decision is split between both sides.
