Well, I purchased my copy of WB's Batman - Season 2 Part 1 DVD set from Wal-Mart last Friday and---Holy Waste Of Time And Money!---do I regret it. -_-

According to TVShowsOnDVD.com Warner Home Video indicated that it would include the fixed versions of the episodes. I checked, and true, they restored the tag to "Marsha's Scheme of Diamonds", but that was about the lone saving grace. Unfortunately, WHV was lax in including the Bat-vehicle teaser that originally aired as part of the second season debut, "Shoot A Crooked Arrow," and the next-week promos to all the episodes except "The Dead Ringers," "Dizzoner The Penguin," "Deep Freeze," and the aforementioned "Marsha's Scheme of Diamonds"---the exact same flaws, I understand, which plagued the Complete Series set.

So the upshot is that WHV wasn't very thorough in completely fixing these episodes...

Holy Haste Makes Waste! I fear this season set was rushed!

FIrst off, the stuff you are talking about was *not* to appear in Season 2 Volume 1. You need to get a replacement disc for *Season 1* to see that other material, and second there was never any restoration of the next week villain spots to the episodes proper they are only presented in a single unspooling presentation again placed on a Season 1 replacement disc with the fixed version of the pilot. In short, there's no flaw in your set at all.
