From what I can see, Fox Cînema Archives, Universal Vault Series and Sony Choice Collection have released only one new title in the first two months of 2015 (Fox - Seventh Heaven).

This is not that unusual for Universal and Sony, but is for Fox, who had been releasing one or two new titles just about every week in 2014.

While each of these product lines have their faults, I hope there are still new releases to come. Many movie titles have been released MOD that probably would never see the light of day otherwise.

Is anybody in the know on these product lines and aware if new releases are still coming??

I've noticed the lack of DVD releases from Fox archives . I hope their program isn't dead .

Add MGM's MOD line (MGM Limited Collection) to that mix. Similarly moribund so far in 2015. I was briefly encouraged by a burst of activity from Universal in October...

Add to that Warner's retiring the Warner Archive site. It's looking like the MOD bubble has burst.

I seriously doubt that the Warner Archive is going to cease anytime soon.

Warner had two MOD websites with the same information (warnerarchive.com and wbshop.com) and consolidated them into one, which was a smart move. I'm not sure why they had two sites in the first place.

Warner has by far put the most effort and resources into their MOD program and has been very successful for that reason. It seems like Fox and Universal figured they could have that same success by just throwing existing and out of date prints out there.

Nevertheless, I want these MOD programs to continue so that more niche titles can be released.

Fox has taken "breaks" like this before. It'll come back with the same inconsistent quality as before in the next month or two.

Sony really does look like it's drying up though. New releases have been extremely scarce these past 6 months.

Universal only does like 3 waves per year. No reason to question its downtime at this point.

Perhaps some of these aspect movie reissued in their correct aspect ratio on bluray -- I'd certainly buy "The Best Things In Life Are Free" again if that was the case, am certain many others would double dip in similar circumstances as well.

There were several Fox MOD discs I boycotted because of wrong aspect ratio which I would have bought if they had been done properly.

Fox's library (including pre-merger existing films) seems smaller than the others.

Sony has a wealth of films that have aired on GetTV,TCM and Encore that they could release. (Plus the scores of others that haven't turned up since the Screen Gems area that exist)

Universal even in "Waves" is a smaller pool.
