would really appreciate your help :

got a samsung blue ray and play station 3 (both has hdmi output only ? , want to play playstation through the blue ray player speakers n on epson projector....what to do to make it happens???

-- That cannot be done - as there is no HDMI input on the blue ray player...


Either you need to get an hdmi switch - so you can connect both of the components to the input of the switch - output of the switch to the projector


-- or use 2 hdmi cables if the projector has 2 hdmi inputs...and use the projector input selector...


Would help to know the model numbers of all of your components - so I could narrow down that recommendation...

Sounds like a Samsung HTiB with a PS3 not a simple Samsung BRP. It sounds like he wants to hook the PS3 into the projector for video with the audio going through the HTiB. It seems like you have two options for making this happen.

  1. Run the audio output of the projector(if it has them) to the HTiB. Hopefully your HTiB has an aux in either digital or analog.
  2. Get a HDMI audio/video extractor and run the audio into the HTiB and the video up to the projector. I don't know the quality that this will yield you but it's better than nothing. Again this is all assuming the HTiB has an aux input that you can use.
If you decide to add in another source you probably should look at a different adapter/switch as you'll be out of inputs into your HTiB.
