I read in Popular Photography that LR 6 would require a 64-bit OS to run. Not a problem for me, but there must be quite a few Lightroom users still on 32-bit systems.

Yeah, those folks still have LR5 to process their photos with.

It's like all those IPhone 4s users who aren't able to run IOS8 well due to the horsepower needed for the most current IOS.

Unless it comes with a de-blurrifier filter, I don't really much need it over LR 5.5 (haven't even upgraded to 5.7 yet). :D

Pure crazy talk, there is zero reason not to upgrade these days, you guys are applying 1990s groupthink where it no longer applies, if it ever did.

Anyway, with a bunch of broken embargoes Lr6 is now the Shroedinger's cat of apps, both announced and not announced.

So If I'm already paying monthly for Photoshop CC, does that mean I get Lr 6 as part of the deal?

Downloaded this free VSCO pack that gives Kodak Gold 100 and Tri-X presets. http://vsco.co/film/00/lightroom

I was never intimately familiar with the look of those two films, but certainly burned through my share of 36-frame rolls back in the day.

It's interesting on the Gold 100 the sharpness gets knocked down to "0" from the default "25."
