Yup, I've ordered this one, I really enjoy it when I'm in the mood. I'm not a huge Scott fan, in fact it's only this & Alien that I like (& I hope the one he's filming now, The Martian). It may or may not get a US & UK release, but it lost a lot of money, & it's Fox, so I wouldn't hold your breath.

I see it's also released in France, but the German release is a wee bit cheaper.

Looking at the caps on caps-a-holic, it looks like it's the same HD master that was used to make the DVD, but the Blu looks a hell of a lot sharper, & they say it's multi-region.

It looks great (as it should do). It's a Fox release (not licensed out), & it's an international disc, everything is English & the language defaults to English (with English subs when someone speaks French), & it's regions ABC.

Thanks, I'm buying that disc as I just watched this film on Cinemax yesterday and I loved it.

Yes, Russell Crowe being charming & funny & going after the woman with a playful childish grin on his face, I don't think he could get away with that now. I wouldn't be surprised if the film was part funded by the French Tourist Board, France does look very nice in it.

I avoided this film for several years because I'm not a big Russell Crowe fan. However, I was channel surfing and started watching it and before I knew it, I was hooked. Crowe was really good, but the beautiful French countryside and the attractive actresses in the cast made this romantic drama/comedy a delightful, entertaining film for me. I know it didn't get good reviews, but I really enjoyed it and want to see it again on Blu-ray.

I finally got my BD today and watched it. Wow! It does look great with fantastic cinematography capturing the French countryside.
