Hey hey, I mentioned this one in another thread about Kickstarter and thought I'd post here since it's in relation to streaming. Vinegar Syndrome, one of the leading companies restoring exploitation films are getting into the streaming game and are having an indiegogo campaign to speed up the process. They are planning to offer over 200 movies, ranging from G-Rated to porno chic XXX fair. Think of it as an alternative Netflix that never left 1970's Times Square. Anyone familiar with the label will know that they've put out "Criterion" quality Blu-rays of forgotten and lost classics. They are planning full 1080p HD streaming of their titles.

Check out the page, the video is pretty cool, showing their archive and restoration facilities. They do their own transfers, in house.

If you can, shoot them a few buck. I'd love to see them succeed since I enjoy collecting their physical media. If you curious about their catalogue, it will be a great way to sample their wares!

Don't have any money to 'kickstart' right now but will probably subscribe to this when it's out. I always said that a cable channel I would actually pay for would be one that showed obscure weird movies.

I was one of the first to donate ($100) :D

Even those who are not too interested in streaming, backing this drive can be beneficial to physical media fans as well. Their $65, $110 and $200 options all involve some great deals on their current and future physical disc catalog. Check 'em out!

Site has launched with a name change, and it's a doozy! Pretty great stuff for grindhouse fans, with films from Vinegar Syndrome, Massacre Video, Severn Films and others. X-rated material is clearly marked. Currently available on the Roku 3 as a private channel. Streams fine on the PS3 and PS4 browsers, at least it did last weekend. I believe they are close to 300 titles at this point, with more added every friday. I couldn't be more pleased! I'll be checking out many of the titles during the Scary Movie challenge. A nice change from the usual.

not that i am a fan of streaming, but yea, i am a fan of the work of a lot of the distributors that this site has, as was a supporter as soon as the kickstarter started off, the beauty was that they said that this was only going to keep it where they plan on doing or continuing physical releases, and i am pretty much happy with the releases that have so far just need to see what is added for this week, think Netflix for grownups

They just added Grindhouse Releasing to their list of partners. MASSACRE MAFIA STYLE is currently the only GR film on the Etv, presuming more to come. I recommend it, the films a blast!

Pretty near all my favourite blu-ray companies are on Etv. I'm a happy camper. :)
