Ordered a Disney movie at Walmart and its available for my viewing if I link account.


If so and I keep the movie sealed (not using DMA code)... Will I have the movie in my vudu account for good?

Yes, as long as you don't return the movie for a refund. If you get a refund Walmart will pull the Vudu copy If you are thinking about buying something and then returning it thus getting a free Vudu copy that won't fly.


Also, if Walmart enters your Vudu code for you the code in the package becomes invalid.

Of course.

Cause...if you return it, you no longer want it.

Ie, you return your rights to the movie. Your code gets killed.

disney movies are not INSTAWATCH just so you know.

Since Disney Movies Anywhere lets you link your VUDU account, both libraries are carried over to each platform. If Walmart revokes your VUDU redemption, it is not certain that you will also lose access in DMA. This comes from the DMA's support page:

When you disconnect, your existing movies will still be available in both your participating provider and Disney Movies Anywhere accounts, but any future movies you add will only be available from the account in which you acquire them. You can connect or disconnect a participating provider account at any time, but you will not be able to connect your Disney Movies Anywhere account to a different account for each participating provider for 180 days.

But is the DMA connected?


If I buy it I get the movie under instawatch.. Could I give the DMA code to a family member so they also get the movie in their vudu account?
