PS. First Post
I have my friend's pair of Infinity Reference One Speakers and I was wondering how to refoam them? Now, I have refoamed at least 4-5 different pairs of speakers in my life and this one is a bit different from the rest.
These Infinity One speakers seam to have a piece of plastic glued down around the edges as seen of the speaker itself in the pictures posted. All of the other speakers I have done have had cardboard or some other lighter material that I can pry up and glue back down.
The only way I see to refoam these speaker is to pry up the plastic which seems like it would crack it. I did a test on it and I had to put significant pressure on the plastic plater and it did seem like it would. I
My question is, is there a way to refoam these speakers and keep the plastic ring in one piece?
Thanks!
