I am a longtime home theater fan. I have had several home theaters including a 100 inch front projector setup with electric drop down screen. This was back in late 90's ans the Sony projector was nice but fairly sensitive to ambient light. Since then I have had moved several times and have had first a Sony 70 inch lcd rptv then a 2007 Mitsubishi 73inch dlp rptv which has gone through one dope chip which I replaced myself with help from you tube video. Just got a Marantz 7008 AVR but have not been able part with a pair of Klipsch Forte speakers vintage 1990 for which I have not found any speakers that sound any better. I presently have them as part of a 7.1 system that also includes a Def Tech Super Cube Signature 14 in 1800 watt sub. Hoping to replace tv with a 4k tv but am holding for better prices and content. Love blu rays esp action movies. Have over 600 in collection and 400 vinyl records.

Welcome Randy! I have a few 1990s era speakers myself and expect they will work perfectly for a lifetime.

It"s like the Billy Joel song, no reason to waste mony on new speakers. Good ones soud as good as the source material and components.
