Has there been any informed speculation (rumors) on how Google would operate using T-Mobile (GSM) and Sprint (CDMA) networks? Would they come out with phones that could use both networks or would you have to pick one or the other?

I did a little research and apparently there are already dual sim android phones with one sim for GSM and the other for CDMA. It occurs to me Google Voice would be the perfect companion for such a phone.

Since each sim would have its own phone number Google Voice could be used to give the end user a single number that could ring either sim. Guess we will see.

I'll believe it when I see it. And when they have nationwide serve to compete with AT&T and verizon. There's a reason Sprint and t-mobile are struggling.
