I want "Encounters: The Hidden Truth" and "The Paranormal Borderline" to be released on DVD. For those who aren't familiar with these TV shows, I'm including brief summaries of them.

Encounters: The Hidden Truth was an hour-long TV series that featured real-life stories of paranormal phenomena. The format featured a host (John Marshall) and a team of reporters presenting 3 or 4 stories per episode dealing with UFOs, crop circles, exorcism, prophets, psychics, reincarnation, and other supernatural phenomena, in a news/documentary style. The stories unfolded through witness interviews and reenactments of the events. The host and reporters discussed their reactions to some of the stories. The weekly series was preceeded by a special that aired in February 1994. The weekly series aired on the Fox network sporadically from June 1994 to January 1996.

The Paranormal Borderline was an hour-long TV series that focused on real people who had experienced paranormal encounters. They told about their fear and trauma of events that took place outside the range of normal comprehension. The weekly series presented stories that examined UFO sightings, psychic premonitions, ghosts, and many other first-hand encounters with unexplainable phenomena. This series incorporated a mix of interviews with the involved people, psychiatrists, researchers and law enforcement authorities. Actor Jonathan Frakes (Star Trek: The Next Generation) was the host for this show. The Paranormal Borderline aired on UPN from March 1996 to May 1996.

I would like to buy DVDs of both series that include all of the episodes of each show in 2 separate DVD sets (1 for each show). There may have only been a small, but loyal following of these shows when they originally aired on TV, but the fans of these shows deserve to own them in our collections. I have a similar topic thread for the 1990's paranormal show "Sightings", but I decided to start a separate thread for these two shows, too. I think Paramount owns the rights to both Encounters and Paranormal Borderline, so I'm tagging this thread with a Paramount tag in hopes that those producers will see it. I figure that these shows are considered low priority for Paramount in releasing them on DVD, but I can only hope that these topics will bring attention to the shows. If you have any memories of watching these shows back in the 1990's and, especially, if you want to see these shows released on DVD, please reply to this topic. I will give my reviews of the shows at a later time. Thanks.
