OSCAR NOMINEES ON DVD or BLU-RAY (1 Viewer)

For some reason, Googling ALL ACADEMY AWARD NOMINEES ON DVD or BLU-RAY hasn't brought up anything helpful. Is there anyone out there who could suggest how I could locate such a list? I'm trying to get all Nominees for: Best Picture, Best Director and all four Acting Catagories, and I'm particularly wondering what might be available in Region 2 that A) Hasn't been released in the US yet and B) Is in decent shape. Many thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

There isn't a list, per say, but I have one for my own personal use. I can send it to you! It's only for best picture nominees, but it will be invaluable to you!! Pm me!

Movies Unlimited has a helpful database. Start here:

http://www.moviesunlimited.com/musite/oscars.asp?CatSel=36

Now they only show current in-print titles as being available so there could be some things released that are now out-of-print.

Thanks, John. Unfortunately, they only show the Oscar Winners, and I'm okay there. It's those Missing Nominees for which I'm hunting.

Actually, movies unlimited does indeed show the nominees as well. I use that site all the time!

Go to the link I posted; then from the drop down box above select a year (for example, 1929-1930) - you will then see the complete list of nominees.

Thanks, John. I missed that option. I just tried it and already found a film I only have on a bad VHS: THE FRONT PAGE from Synergy. I was surprised, however, that some titles are listed as UNAVAILABLE that aren't. Kino's release of ALIBI was the first one I noticed, which Amazon still carries. Anyway ... this is a great source, and I do appreciate having it pointed out.
