One Day at a Time is now my biggest want from Sony, then The Donna Reed Show, but The Nanny comes in third. Very happy about this news!

Once again, my wallet isn't thrilled, but I like the complete series a month deal Shout has going right now.

I hope when they put the info up on their site, they announce their usual "order it from us, get it a month early" deal.

The cost is not as much the issue as their being made available faster than I can consume them all. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled these are coming; Sony's basically emptying out their vaults to anyone willing to pay for the cost of releasing these shows while there's still a market for physical media and while their respective fan bases are still among the living. But I'm in college now and I have to wait for the sales.

Yes. The only one I've managed to buy so far is the "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" set when it managed to go down to only $90 during Amazon's Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals.

Wow, Another 90's show released. Please help me hold down my enthusiasm. No offense to fans of the shows but would much rather have seen Archie, One Day, Benson, or Different Strokes.

What I want from Sony is the rest of Donna Reed, Police Story, Police Woman, The Rookies, and Fantasy Island.

I am glad many are getting their want lists filled, but I'm still waiting.

I'm pretty sure this forms part of a big deal since Shout also released Mary Hartman, The Jeffersons, Hart to Hart and Maude. I could definitely see them getting to the other shows you listed. I think Shout is probably taking into account the sales of HTH and the upcoming Maude too see if they should pursue more of those type of titles. We'll see…

As much as I want them to continue with all of those shows, most of them with the exception of FI didn't sell well.

Those will probably happen sooner or later. Throw in Fernwood 2Night, Silver Spoons and 227 along with those and my wish list of Sony shows that ran long enough to get syndicated will be complete.

Keep in mind this comes after doing a glut of shows from the four decades that preceded it as well. There's room for everyone, etc., etc.

I hope this is good news for Mad About You! Paul Reiser recently met with Sony execs to try and get the final two seasons released. I prefer they release them individually and then the box set (with nothing new) so I don't have to double dip, but I'll take it however I can get it!

Great!!!!! This is already shaping up to be a very good year for TV DVD--particularly with shows featuring women, with Hart-to-Hart S4 coming out next month, along with both TCS editions of Maude and now, The Nanny!!!!! If I don't get to them soon, then I will, for sure, by XMAS at the latest!!!!! :)

I wonder if they'll include the Lifetime reunion special. The ones for Golden Girls and Designing Women were not on their respective DVD sets.

I'm hoping that the few episodes of "Princesses" are included as a bonus. It was Fran's first *failed* sitcom, but co-star Twiggy Lawson later had a guest role on "The Nanny".

I like the colors, but the background makes it look Fran's King Kong, where's Max, Maggie, Brighton, Gracie, Nile's, C.C., Sylvia, and of course Yetta?

I love the box art...fun and flashy like Fran and the animated background evocative of the opening credits.
