New to home theather (1 Viewer)

I am currently building my home. I will have a 13.5 by 16 foot media room and am thinking about installing a projector. I have no clue regarding projectors, and turned to this forum for help. I want to paint a screen and also have roku and cable inputs to the projector. Any responces/advice would be appreciated.

I have no clue about audio, budget has to be less than 70" TV. My wife will not let spend more than $700.

We have a member that managed this on $1000. Have zero idea how to shave $300.
