Hi. I am new to the forum. I have comcast with a digital box. I use a viewsonic 3d projector for my home theater. How do I access the above listed movies on my comcast? I did a search last night on Starz and only saw Pompeii available. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Under On Demand, you should have a Starz 3D category. Do you have that?

I do. But when I looked last night it only listed Pompeii for some reason. I also have HBO but I did not check them out yet.

I had a similar problem last year where some titles were missing. I contacted STARZ on the phone and they said there some kind of disconnect where Comcast was not downloading all the 3D titles. I also called Comcast. It eventually got fixed.

300 3D will be added to HBO in a week or two. MALEFICENT 3D will be on Starz in March, in OAR! (However, 300 will be cropped.)

That makes sense as Frozen is available till March 5. I guess Maleficent might be added March 6.

300 is opened up with more picture info on the top and bottom.

Yes, more useless picture info on top and bottom (empty sky, water, etc) but cut off on the sides, losing people, production design, effects, etc. NOT what the moviemakers intended.

I also would prefer the original 2.35 image but, nothing is cut from the sides.

Not trying to be argumentative but the sides are definitely cut off. I put in the BD to check and both sides have been cropped from the cable version. Business as usual at HBO. .

Must be only in specific scenes that the HBO broadcast is cropped on the sides. Here are comparisons of the Blu-ray to HBO broadcast. Sorry they are not the same size.

I only had time to look at the first shot in the movie, with the bodies...less movement. But since some folks have mentioned that they prefer 16X9 for 3D, either version will certainly suffice..
