Hi, I came across this forum and saw how you guys are helped out some other people with problems, and was hoping you could do the same for me. I looked for posts similar to my situation, but I found none, so I decided to make a new post.
Here are my systems and connections:
Sony BDV-E500W Blu-Ray Player Home Theater System
Sony Bravia KDL-46Z5100
-I have an HDMI cable from my cable box to TV.
-I have an HDMI cable from my DVD/home theater system to the TV
-I have a Chromecast connected to the TV
1) My TV audio works when I am watching cable
2) If I play a DVD in the blu ray player, the home theater system works.
3) If I am watching cable and try to switch audio to home theater, there is no audio.
4) Chromecast also only works with TV audio, not home theater audio.
I don't know what I'm missing here, as I think I have all the necessary connections. I appreciate any and all help you guys could provide me.
