Sorry if this is a stupid question but this stuff baffles me sometimes. I have an Onkyo TX-NR809 receiver with a pretty nice home theater setup attached to it. I have a touchscreen jukebox I built into the computer that is attached to the setup but I don't want the sound to output to the current home theater speakers. I have 4 additional speakers that are placed throughout the man cave that I would like the juke to output to. I'm assuming I need to use the Zone 2 function on my receiver but they are red/white inputs and not speaker wire terminals. So my question is, what do i need to purchase in order to connect the 4 speakers to the Zone 2 input on my receiver. Am I looking for an inexpensive amp to accomplish this?

One other thing to consider - check your Onkyo manual to see if it will output digital inputs via zone 2 or just analog. Many receivers will only output sources connected via analog connections (red/white RCA) to zone 2.

Not sure how your computer is connected, but I would suspect it's currently a digital connection (either coaxial or toslink).

If the jukebox is the only source, and all the channels in the Onkyo are already in use(5.1 or 7.1?)...Run the juke directly to amps. Don't even involve the Onkyo.
