Hello! First of all, nice to meet everyone. It's good to know there's such a large and encompassing forum and community for all things home theater like this.
Well, going straight to the point... I recently purchased a reasonably cheap old model Philco Home Theater (the kind that doesn't have p2 or HDMI, only RCA), and while I'm really enjoying the sound so far, it came with 2 SL speakers, and a missing FL speaker. So here's my question: am I losing any significant sound quality by using the extra SL to fill in for the missing FL, or are all speakers except the sub-woofer (at least on cheap home theaters) equal?
The store from where I bought it doesn't have a good customer service, and it would be troublesome to wait a long time trying to return it and get a new one instead, but I'm a beginner when it comes to home theaters, so I decided to borrow some wisdom from this forum.
Thank you for your time.
