Space bar and IE11 problem (1 Viewer)

I've recently started having problems with my space bar and enter key not working on most web sites, including HTF and Facebook. HP DV6 laptop, 64 bit Windows 7, 8 Gb. RAM, plenty of disk space, all current updates and drivers. I think it's an IE 11 issue. Word, Excel, notepad and all local apps work fine. University website I use is fine, never had an issue.

Some websites work, but with most I have to repeatedly press the space bar or the enter key when posting or asking questions, often ending up with double spaces or most times no spaces. Constantly having to go back and correct things before I send them. With Bing the keys stick, with Google no problem at all.

Sometimes, when not working, every once in a while it will suddenly vanish, everything works great for about a minute and then stops working again.

Some weird internet delay? I'm lost with this problem. The Google/Bing difference pretty much points to a software issue, but what is it?

Any advice?

Disable plugins in IE11? I'd try this first, try to isolate if this is a certain plug in...

Otherwise

Have you tried Firefox or Chrome, (to see if it is isolated to IE11?

I've been an IE user since day one. Wow, that probably ages me 20 or so years.

Probably time to try another browser, it's always good to learn new things. Silly question but will I still have access to my "MSN' email address. My first address, don't even know how far it goes back, but somewhere in the 80s, so it has a lot of history. Resumes, business cards, online accounts, friends, etc.Have a gmail account for the few times I've misbehaved and websites have banned me, but not a very professional looking name.

I don't see why not, your web browser has no effect on your email account, the mail server, etc. Now, there might be differences in accessing your MSN email from using IE to say Chrome or Firefox but probably minor. Only way to find out is to try and run the other browser through the paces and see. If you access your MSN email through a simple email client outside the webaccess, then it wont matter but your reply implies that you use IE to get your MSN mail.
